3.20.10 -- We figured it was time to build a bike specifically for show. And since bikes are made to be ridden, why not make it for Ryan's body? Since this bike is for show, we decided to take creative liberty in the painting process. First, Ryan did a few coats of blue and then a few coats of white paint, including thin stripes of white in certain areas. Then, the white paint was carefully sanded so that speckles of blue came through, creating a texture much like a robin's egg. Ryan then masked off a few panels, dripped and swirled acetone on the surface, and dabbed it away. This created some pretty designs.
