09.01.10 -- My oh my. We received a Rohloff hub for use on Shiela's touring bike. What a beautiful mechanism. It has a 14 speed internal planetary gear drive. And they never break. Rohloff has a test hub that has been running with no kinks for 280,000 miles and going. I have only heard one story of a hub breaking on tour overseas, and Rohloff sent a technician to the rider to fix it. Can't wait to build this bike!
