11.01.10 -- FE exhibited at the Philly Bike Expo. One of 75 vendors, it was amazing to be part of the huge bicycle movement in this area. The Expo was complete with free coffee, a beer garden, seminars, a bike swap, a bicycle fashion show, and various after-parties. It was an all-inclusive cycling culture event. Thanks Bilenky!

Marie participated in a panel on "Empowering Women Cyclists". About 25 women showed to talk about all issues female and cycling. "Have you ever worn high heels while riding?" and "Is it possible to wear a skirt and ride?" is what we started with. Then, we moved to some more interesting topics like, "How do you encourage women to ride?" and "What type of bike design is good for women and how do you find it?" and "How important is a fitting?"

It reminded me that we really need to do a BCBC Boot Camp in Newark. It's an intense training day. Prepared cyclists, female or male, are so important.
